Best Disney Restaurants for Picky Eaters

Here are our best Disney Resort restaurants in each of the Disney World theme parks that we’ve found work well for satisfying picky eater.

Magic Kingdom Picky Eater Options

1. Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe

For kids’ meals, this quick service restaurant in Frontierland offers burgers, tacos, and macaroni and cheese.

Grown-ups can choose from burgers or Mexican-inspired cuisine, such as fajitas, tacos, nachos, and rice bowls.

The variety here makes it great for parties who have a combination of more adventurous eaters and pickier eaters.

2. Crystal Palace

This character dining buffet offers classic breakfast and lunch dishes, plus a wide variety of desserts.

Since it’s served buffet-style, picky eaters can pick and choose what looks good to them.

Their buffet offerings do vary slightly with the seasons, so it’s a good idea to check the menu beforehand.

The breakfast buffet is definitely more suited toward picky palates, in my opinion.

While they do offer some dinner options many picky eaters may enjoy, such as fried chicken or sliced prime rib, it’s a more expensive meal that may not be worth the price for extremely picky eaters.

And since it’s character dining, kids can also enjoy meeting some of their favorite characters from Winnie the Pooh!

3. Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe

This quick-service restaurant in Tomorrowland offers a variety of options for picky eaters, including burgers, chicken tenders, macaroni & cheese, salads, and more.

Plus, the restaurant features a fun “sing-along” soundtrack that kids will love!

4. Casey’s Corner

Located at the end of Main Street USA, this quick service option offers famous foot-long hot dogs, corn dog nuggets, and french fries.

They also have cartoons playing on the screen in the seating area, making it a fun stop for little ones.

5. Columbia Harbor House

This restaurant in Liberty Square is popular for their seafood offerings.

However, they also offer standard fare of chicken tenders, PB&J Uncrustables, and french fries, so there’s something for everyone.

6. Pinocchio Village Haus

Pizza lovers will enjoy stopping at this Fantasyland restaurant for various flatbreads.

They also have chicken fingers, fries, and PB&J Uncrustables for those who might not want a pizza.

Try to snag a table overlooking It’s a Small World if you can!

1. Flame Tree Barbecue

Located in Discovery Island, this quick service restaurant specializes in barbecue dishes that satisfy a wide variety of appetites, from ribs to chicken to pulled pork.

They also offer chicken tenders and macaroni and cheese for those who prefer other options.

2. Tusker House

At this buffet-style restaurant in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, you can find a mix of traditional American and African-inspired dishes.

For breakfast, you’ll find eggs, waffles, bacon, sausage, yogurt, etc., which suits many diners.

3. Harambe Fruit Market

Sometimes when I’m in the parks with my kids, I feel like all they are eating everyday is chicken tenders, french fries, and hot dogs.

Because they do pretty well with most fruits, we try to grab some whenever we get the chance, and Harambe Fruit Market is great for that.

Depending on the appetites of your crew, it might be more of a snack stop rather than a full meal.

But it’s still a great spot for fresh fruit, soft pretzels, and potato chips, which can be a nice change of pace.

4. Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafes

This quick-service option serves Asian-inspired fare, including honey sesame chicken and Korean BBQ rib tips.

But don’t worry, they also have options geared more toward the picky eaters among us, including cheeseburgers, chicken strips, and PB&J.

When it comes to feeding a child who’s finicky about their food or finding a restaurant in Walt Disney World that works for an adult who is a picky eater, there are plenty of options.

Here are some good tips to keep in mind when visiting Disney World with picky eaters:

1. Bring snacks

No matter what your picky eater’s tastes might be, it’s always helpful to bring along some non-perishable snacks that you know they like.

That way, if they don’t find anything on the menu appealing, they’ll have a back-up.

Most restaurants offer the option of splitting entrees.

If your foodie is hesitant to try something new, consider letting them split a meal with someone else in the party.

If you have a special request, don’t hesitate to ask.

Many restaurants offer kid-friendly menus or meals that come with a side of something familiar.

These options are usually quick and easy to prepare, so they may be worth considering if you’re in a hurry.
