Best Magic Kingdom Rides for Toddlers
The Magic Kingdom is awesome for toddlers! While Fantasyland offers many rides tailored just for little ones, there are also many other rides throughout the park suitable for little tykes as well.
Here’s a roundup of some of our favorite toddler-friendly rides.
Peter Pan’s Flight
This popular ride not only features a beloved, childhood classic but also offers an entertaining queue while you wait.
There, your tot will walk through Wendy’s room where they’ll keep an eye out for Tinkerbell, butterflies, Captain Hook and Peter Pan’s shadow.
Having such a fun queue makes the time pass more quickly and keeps little ones from getting bored.
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
In the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, you’ll climb aboard your very own honey pot vehicle as you visit the pages of Pooh’s story.
You’ll see your favorite characters from the Hundred Acre Wood, and even some Heffalumps and Woozles!
Prince Charming Regal Carousel
What toddler doesn’t love a carousel? It’s always so fun for kids to pick their favorite horse to ride.
This iconic carousel plays Disney songs while you ride, too, which makes it even more magical!
Under the Sea-Journey of the Little Mermaid
This ride is great for toddlers! Your little one will feel as if they’ve been transported “Under the Sea” with Ariel.
Sing along as you follow Ariel on a journey to find her prince.
It’s a Small World
If you want to take a calming boat ride with endless, captivating dolls to admire, this ride is sure to be a winner.
Of course, the song might be stuck in your head for the rest of the day, but that’s part of the fun!
It’s totally worth it to see their little minds explore the different countries and languages these dolls represent.
Mad Hatter Tea Party
The “tea cups” are a must-do while at Magic Kingdom.
I’m not sure why all little ones enjoy spinning in circles over and over again, but they do! And parents, be assured you can control how fast or slow you spin.
Dumbo’s Flying Elephant
This classic ride is not only going to make your child feel like they’re flying, but they’ll also have lots of fun at the playground that’s part of the queue.
Nothing makes waiting in line more bearable than playing!
The Jungle Cruise
If you have a little adventurer in your family, they’ll love this boat ride that features different animals and story lines.
And the adults in your party will get a kick out of the boat captain’s jokes, no matter how corny they may be!
Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
This ride is not only entertaining for all of the Toy Story loving kiddos, but it’s also interactive and immersive. This allows the kiddos to feel like they’re participating, which totally adds to the fun factor.
Your toddler will go on a mission to defeat Zurg and try to blast as many aliens as possible along the way!
The Magic Carpets of Aladdin
Much like Dumbo the Flying Elephant, these carpets fly around and are controlled by your toddler.
Only this time, you’ll be dodging water that’s spit by a camel!

Best Epcot Rides for Toddlers
While Epcot is well-known for their international festivals and thrilling rides like Mission Space and Test Track, there are also many rides for your small kids as well.
Here are my top picks for toddlers at Epcot.
Frozen Ever After
This boat ride features Anna, Elsa and the gang along with your favorite Frozen songs as you float through Arendelle.
Once you’re done, your little ones can visit with Anna and Elsa next door!
The Seas with Nemo and Friends
As you board your clamshell vehicle, you’ll embark on a journey to help Marlin and Dory find Nemo.
Once you’re done, you’ll enter an amazing aquarium full of different marine life as well as a small playground.
Journey into Imagination with Figment
This ride features an adorable Figment who, with the help of Dr. Nigel Channing, will teach your tyke all about using their imagination through their five senses.
This is always a cute and enjoyable ride.
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
Head over to the France pavilion in World Showcase for this new attraction!
Your family will discover what it’s like to work as a rat chef as your vehicle immerses you into a seemingly giant world.
Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros
This boat ride in the Mexico pavilion is a slow-paced ride that features the Three Caballeros as well as Mexican culture under the backdrop of a starry sky.
This air-conditioned ride is a great way to stay cool at Disney World on a hot day.

Animal Kingdom Rides for Toddlers
Animal Kingdom offers a lot for toddlers as well, especially if they are fascinated by animals.
There are so many opportunities for them to explore wildlife, as well as world-class live shows and a playground.
I think many of these attractions will captivate their curiosity.
Kilimanjaro Safari
This open-air safari ride will take you and your toddler through an Africa savanna as you view many amazing animals and learn fun facts about them.
If you want to see these animals being the most active, plan to do this ride early in the morning while it’s still cooler out.
Wildlife Express Train
This train will take you and your little ones to Rafiki’s Planet Watch and Conservation Station, where they’ll be able to pet some small farm animals as well as take part in some educational activities.
They may even get to see veterinarians at work! Plus, kids love train rides!
Na’vi River Journey
Take a trip to Pandora on this amazing boat ride.
With all of the lights and made-up characters, this ride is sure to captivate your toddler’s mind.
This is a great option for night when it lights up even more.
The Boneyard In Dinoland USA
While the rides in the Dinoland USA aren’t exactly toddler-friendly, this part of the park does offer some fun for toddlers.
They’ll be able to burn off energy at The Boneyard playground, an open-air play area designed to look like a dig site for dinosaur bones.
Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail
This attraction isn’t a ride, but it’s a great way to explore the African Serengeti and see a variety of animals up close while walking at your toddler’s pace.
This trail features gorillas, hippos and birds and other wildlife.

Hollywood Studios Rides for Toddlers
While Hollywood Studios doesn’t have quite as many toddler-friendly rides as the other parks, there is still a lot of fun for your tyke to have.
Don’t forget this park is the best place for them to see Disney Junior characters, too!
Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway
If your little one loves Mickey and Minnie, then they’re going to love this ride!
With all of the bright colors, animation, and animatronics, they’re sure to be totally captivated.
Alien Swirling Saucers
While your toddler must be at least 32” tall to ride this ride, it’s sure to be fun as you hop aboard a spaceship with the little green aliens.
And as a bonus, if you ride earlier in the day, you’ll probably have a much shorter wait.
Disney Junior Dance Party
This show isn’t a ride, but it offers plenty of entertainment as well as an opportunity for your little ones to get their wiggles out!
They’ll get to see some of their favorite Disney Junior characters take the stage, which is always fun!
Toy Story Mania
This interactive ride will provide lots of fun as your toddler practices their slingshot aim on different challenges, such as popping balloons or breaking plates.
Enjoying Rides at Disney World with a Toddler
To recap, there really are so many awesome rides for your small kiddo to do at all of the Disney parks.
And while the Magic Kingdom certainly has the most rides for toddlers, the other parks have a lot to offer too.
Whether you think your tot would enjoy the rides in Fantasyland or exploring the wildlife at Animal Kingdom, they’re going to have so much fun!
And you’re going to have the indescribable joy of watching their little faces light up.
