1. Mickey Beignet

The famous Mickey beignet is something you have to try when visiting Disneyland park. It’s one of the best things around!

Nestled in the menu of the Scat Cat’s Club Cafe at the Disneyland Port Orleans – French Quarter, these piping hot and golden cake-like treats are served with a delicious coat of powdered sugar.

It’s worth giving a warning to dress appropriately for these delicious beignets! The powdered sugar spills easily onto anything dark you might be wearing.

There’s also the option of ordering specialty beignets.

The beignets can be ordered with a dipping sauce in flavors like salted caramel, chicory chocolate, strawberry, or ganache, and there’s even a Mickey beignet sundae piled high with an ice cream and sauce of your choice!

Offered at the Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill in the Pacific Wharf area of the Disneyland park, the QuesaBirria is an underappreciated classic. Any fans of savory, cheesy deliciousness have to give this delicious take on two traditional recipes a try.

Drawing from the traditional preparation of a quesadilla (cheese melted inside a tortilla) and Birria (spiced shredded beef stew), this recipe brings a fun new spin on the recipes and highlights their complementary flavors.

In this dish, shredded beef is cooked in a Birria stew broth before being added inside a quesadilla with cheese and fried. The delicious spices infused into the beef complement the rich cheese in an incredible way, and the stewing of the beef results in a tender and oozing-with-flavor texture.

Suffice to say, if you’re ordering this incredible treat, napkins are a requirement.

Or, that’s what I thought until I tried Disneyland’s famous seasonal funnel cakes. There are too many delicious varieties to list!

The Chocolate and Coffee Funnel Cake is incredible. Served with a heaping portion of chocolate mocha ice cream and laden with sweet whipped cream and chocolate fudge, there’s no denying that this funnel cake creation is a masterpiece.

Anyone looking for a delightfully chocolatey and rich dessert will love this funnel cake.

Meanwhile, the Red Velvet Funnel Cake is an adorable pink treat perfect for sharing with a special someone. Strawberry ice cream and cream cheese frosting are laid on a rich red velvet funnel cake in the shape of an adorable Mickey.

With the powdered sugar and whipped cream added, this dessert is almost too cute to eat!

The Honey-To-Love Funnel cake is also a great choice for the Valentine’s Day season. This funnel cake is slathered with honey and has an adorable whipped cream Mickey with cinnamon sprinkles.

This sandwich is served with a Cajun-spiced Remoulade and Berry Puree, with a side of Parmesan-Garlic Pommes Frites.

As is typical of Disneyland offerings, the sandwich and Pommes Frites are both cooked to golden and crispy perfection. The hints of herbal flavor from the garlic and parsley add a delicious layer to the flavor.

7. Plaza Inn Fried Chicken

If you’re looking for a quick and piping hot meal, you might choose to stop in the Plaza Inn on Disneyland’s Main Street.

This restaurant is one of Disneyland’s most popular locations, and visitors from all around can’t stop raving about their fried chicken.

The cookie butter monkey bread pairs their delicious classic monkey bread with vanilla ice cream, a cookie butter shell, and cookie butter creme anglaise. When it arrived at the table, it was hot and practically oozing with flavor.

The velvety and soft bread is coated in delicious cinnamon sugar, and the delicious creaminess of the vanilla ice cream makes an incredible pairing.

And just as it couldn’t get any better, the delicious cookie butter creme Anglaise is drizzled over the ice cream and adds a buttery finish.

The cookie butter monkey bread is almost reminiscent of the flavor of a cinnamon roll in all the best ways, and other specialty offerings are sure to be just as good.

This Mary Poppins-themed eatery can be found at the end of Main Street, near the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Carthay Circle Restaurant

This popular restaurant at Disney California Adventure Park not only offers delicious food, but it housed an important moment in Disney history – the premiere of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs!

Red Rose Taverne

This gorgeous quick-service restaurant is located in Fantasyland and features a stunning cobblestone patio, Pinnochio murals, and a Beauty and the Beast-inspired menu.

This is a great location if you’re looking to find some truly substantial sandwiches to satisfy your cravings after walking around the theme park. Popular dishes include the Beast’s Forbidden Burger, the Chicken Sandwich a La Lumiere, and the Garden Mozzarella Flatbread.

Blue Bayou

This Cajun and Creole-inspired restaurant is right by the Pirates of the Caribbean ride and offers some stunning views.

Soft lanterns hang from the ceiling in this atmospheric restaurant, where you can witness guests sailing by on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride.

Known as one of Disneyland’s most popular restaurants, Blue Bayou opened alongside the Pirates of the Caribbean ride in 1967.
