Breakfast in the Disney theme parks is such a unique and special experience–especially breakfast at Epcot!

Now, I realize that some people want to maximize every possible moment in the park, and they feel that eating breakfast in the park encroaches on valuable time they could be enjoying attractions.

And I get it, because there are a lot of amazing rides at Epcot!

So, they choose to eat breakfast at the hotel before they arrive.

But what you may not realize is that, in many cases (at least under normal circumstances), you can reserve a table for breakfast in the park, before the park even opens!

But not every restaurant at Disney World offers breakfast, so it’s important to know where you can get a bite in the morning!

One of the best parts of visiting Epcot is the ability to indulge in breakfast at the park best known for great meals!

One of our favorite park hopping tips is to plan your day around your meals, so let’s look at the top places to enjoy breakfast at Epcot, with a slight twist at the end. Enjoy!

What are the Best Restaurants for Breakfast in Epcot?

These are the best breakfast options available at Epcot right now!

Garden Grill

This is my first choice for breakfast, especially since all of the changes that have happened at Epcot.

It is a character experience with Farmer Mickey and friends, but the best thing about this meal is the family-style, all-you-care-to enjoy servings they bring out.

It’s got everything you need for a Disney breakfast, in a rotating restaurant overlooking the attraction Living with the Land.

This has always been one of my family’s absolute favorite restaurants to hit up during a day at Epcot–I have so many fond memories of eating here over the years.

You can check out the Garden Grill menu here.

Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe

The Norway Pavilion offers up delicious bakery items at Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe.

This place is terrific if you just want a coffee and a pastry-like School Bread or a Troll Horn.

The eating area is well ventilated and has a nice view of the pavilion and other travelers along the World Showcase.

The Norway Pavilion used to have Akershus, which is currently unavailable. This was where you could meet several Disney princesses at once.

Since these characters aren’t making the rounds they used to, and Akershus was turned into a relaxation station, the restaurant has remained closed since May.

But no need to despair–Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe still offers so many delectable choices–you can check out their menu here!

Les Halles

Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie, located in the France Pavilion of World Showcase, offers a variety of delectable pastries and baguette sandwiches.

They also offer gourmet coffees!

Quiche Lorraine, beignets, and croissants abound in this French bakery. It’s one of my very favorite spots!

Joffrey’s

Joffrey’s Coffee always has some breakfast items available to go with their coffee.

It’s a reasonable solution if you aren’t near the Norway Pavilion but want something right away.

Joffrey’s has locations all over Epcot, including just outside the park, so there’s always one nearby if you are in a pinch.

For some, Joffrey’s means so much more than coffee. It’s part of their Disney World experience, which is why I feel comfortable including it here, even though I’m really only adding it because so many of the really great options have been taken away.

You’ll see Joffery’s carts at the Epcot entrance, Future World East, Showcase Plaza, and Canada.

Traveler’s Cafe

When Fountain View was demolished, Starbucks reopened at the World Showcase entrance as Traveler’s Cafe.

For those of you who love Starbucks, it’s still at Epcot and you can grab your Disney-themed breakfast items there along with your coffee.

You can check out the Traveler’s Cafe menu here.

Trattoria Al Forno

This is a truly great option, and I almost didn’t mention it, but I can’t in good conscience leave this list off at Starbucks–at least not when there is such an incredible breakfast option just a five-minute walk away!

It isn’t technically inside the park, but for guests who want a great breakfast at Epcot, this is more than a good option.

Trattoria al Forno is an Italian restaurant on the Disney Boardwalk, literally right outside the International Gateway.

Whether you leave the park temporarily for a late breakfast or stop in before entering the park after a ride on the Skyliner, Trattoria Al Forno is easily one of the best breakfast options an Epcot guest has right now.

I do have to point out what you might have already guessed, if you are already a fan of the restaurant.

At this time, this restaurant’s beloved Bon Voyage Breakfast with Rapunzel and Ariel is unavailable. But you still get a wonderful atmosphere and terrific food when you dine here!

You can check out Trattoria al Forno’s menu here.

Do Epcot Restaurants Take the Disney Dining Plan?

Yes, restaurants at Epcot do participate in the Disney dining plan (though it is currently unavailable). If you have the Disney dining plan as part of your vacation package, be sure to utilize its benefits to get the most bang for your buck!

You can see a full list of all of the Epcot restaurants, including which ones are Quick Service and which ones are Table Service, on this list on the Disney World website.
