Christmas is such a magical time of year, isn’t it? It seems like each year I start putting up the Christmas tree earlier and earlier–I just can’t help myself!

I’m a little obsessed with the Christmas season and of course, all things Disney! Put these two things together and I couldn’t be any happier.  

There are so many fun ways to incorporate your favorite Disney characters into your Christmas decor. 

One really popular option is to opt for a Disney themed tree. Not only will you get to look at your beautiful Disney tree all season long but it’s a great way to get the kids involved and excited as well.

We’ll start by sharing a few we found around the web that we thought were so cute–then we’ll share some more fun ideas and recommendations for making one of your own!

I absolutely love this tree!  Inspired by the Disney parks, it embodies traditional Christmas colored ornaments and lights but it features subtle Disney ornaments. 

And let’s not overlook the awesome monorail train! What a nice touch.

This tree is a fabulous option for anyone who loves Toy Story. 

The detail on this Toy Story themed tree is perfect and creates so much fun and excitement. 

Chances are, if you have little kids, you probably already have some toys you could use towards recreating this theme. 

If you have a princess in your household, she will love this Frozen-themed Christmas tree. 

My daughter loves Frozen and would really enjoy helping me put ornaments on this one. I think the blue, white and silver colors as well as the plush tree skirt add the perfect touch.

We love each Disney Princess and think they all deserve a place on the tree!

Start with some character ornaments, then add some jeweled tiara ornaments. The pink and silver wired ribbon is perfect for garland!

Winnie the Pooh and The Hundred Acre Wood Christmas Tree

Start with some fun character ornaments, then tie some string around the honey dippers and add those to your tree. The felted acorns are a nice touch, too!

Minnie Mouse Themed Christmas Tree

I love the idea of incorporating some Minnie ornaments, plus some bright red ornaments and of course–polka dot ribbon!

Disney Christmas Tree Skirts

This Christmas tree skirt is perfect, because Mickey himself is on it! It makes a great base for a Disney themed Christmas tree.

I love the somewhat vintage feel of this Disney Parks Christmas tree skirt, with Mickey and Minnie commandeering the sleigh.

A nice, plush faux fur tree skirt gives the illusion of a bed of snow–perfect for a Disney Frozen-themed tree!

If you’re looking for a bolder, less-traditional option, this choice would be great for a more specific theme such as Star Wars. 

It would also be great for The Nightmare Before Christmas, a Tower of Terror tree or an Alice and Wonderland theme.

Disney Christmas Tree Ornaments

This Lion King ornament set is so cute and I just love that the hyenas are included.  These would work especially well on a kid’s tree.

You could also make several of your own ornaments using Perler beads!

Check out our favorite Disney Perler bead patterns, then leave out a couple of beads so you can thread a string through the finished product, and you have inexpensive ornaments!

Okay, seriously, this one cracks me up!  Yoda is so cute dressed as Santa and this tree topper is perfect for Star Wars enthusiasts.

I have so many Disney favorites to enjoy this time of year.  I love Christmas at Disney World, the holiday Disney movies, and of course–the characters. 

It’s so hard to choose which ones to include in my own Christmas decorations!
