Today we’re sharing insider details of the exclusive club, how much a membership costs, how to get into Club 33, and more fun facts!
This is one of Disneyland’s best-kept secrets, and something many fans don’t know about!
What is Disneyland’s Club 33?
Disneyland’s Club 33 is an exclusive club at Disneyland Resort. It’s only open to members and their guests, though the membership fee is quite costly, as you might expect.
I’ve seen differing amounts for the costs associated with being a member, with an initiation fee ranging from $25,000-$33,000 plus annual dues of around $12,000-$15,000 per year.
Interested in joining? Even if you can afford high price tag of the annual fee, the exclusive club has a long waiting list–and it can take decades to reach the top.

Disney’s Club 33 history
The history of Disneyland’s Club 33 is shrouded in mystery.
However, it’s believed that the club was founded by Walt Disney and his business partner Jack Wrather to entertain their friends and business partners with good food and wine.
The club is said to be modeled after executive lounges created by corporate sponsors of pavilions in the New York World’s Fair in 1964.
Unfortunately, Walt Disney died in 1966, before the club opened.
Historically, the original club was peppered with loads of fun details, from the talking animatronic vulture perched in the Trophy Room to the antique table used in the film Mary Poppins.
A renovation in 2014 updated the look of the club, but still kept its elegance intact.
How Club 33 got its name
There are many theories of how Club 33 got its name, including:
- If you turn 33 to the side, the numbers look like “mm”, for Mickey Mouse.
- There were 33 original investors in Disneyland and the club was designed for Walt to entertain them.
- There were 33 votes received to continue building the club after Walt’s death.
Although we don’t know which of these (if any) are true, the fact is that because the club serves liquor, it needed an address in order to obtain a liquor license.
So no matter why the number 33 was picked, its official address is 33 Royal Street.
Where is Club 33 in Disneyland?
The first location of Club 33 opened in 1967 at Disneyland when New Orleans Square debuted as part of a major expansion project for the resort.
It’s located in the New Orleans Square of Disneyland Park, near the Blue Bayou Restaurant, and has a private entrance (called “33 Royal Street”).
Can I Get Reservation For Disneyland Club 33?
Well, it’s not as easy to make reservations at the club if you aren’t one of the club members.
You’ll have to know somebody with a connection (or be a celebrity) to step into this club. The only way into this exclusive club is if you know a member or have been invited in by someone who has access.
How To Get Into Club 33?
While most of the traditions and rituals of the secret club are kept under wraps, there are a few things we know from various reports.
First is how to get into the exclusive location.
In keeping with the secret club vibes, Club 33 isn’t easy to spot to guests unless you know to look for the small “33” plaque by the door of a little known area by the Blue Bayou Restaurant.
Rumor has it that there’s an intercom system in place, similar to an old speakeasy, that guests use to let a cast member know you have arrived.
The concierge will answer, get your name, and buzz you in to the Court of Angels where you’ll wait for your reservation.
When it’s your turn to dine, you’ll climb the beautiful winding staircase up to the reception area for Disney Club 33 members.
Disney’s Club 33 dress code
Just like most upscale restaurants, including ones on Disney property, proper dress is required.
Guests aren’t allowed to wear sweatpants, tank tops, crop tops, shorts, or flip flops. Instead, evening dresses and business suits are the recommended attire.
Benefits Of membership
The perks of being a member at Disneyland Club 33 include having your own private entrance, private dining with upscale cuisine, personal concierge services, VIP tours around the park and more!

2. Salon Nouveau Jazz Lounge
The use of the Salon Nouveau Jazz Lounge is also a perk for Disney’s Club 33 members.
With a “straight-out-of-a-1960s-movie” feel, the lounge features an old cigar club look, complete with a bar, piano, and leather club chairs.
This hangout was once (until Star Wars Land opened) the only place in Disneyland where guests can enjoy an alcoholic beverage or cocktail.
3. Park passes
Members also get park passes for themselves, plus up to 50 park tickets to share with guests.
Not only that, but members also have access to a complimentary car service from select Southern California hotels to the Disneyland Resort.
4. Exclusive merchandise
Just like with almost every Disney attraction, there’s a Club 33 gift shop.
Members and their guests have access to exclusive merchandise that is not available to the public – which is something all Disney fans will want!
5. Valet parking
Club 33 members receive access to valet parking at the resorts.
6. Secret park access
On busy park days, members can come and go to Disneyland through a back entrance for special access.
7. Member-only attractions
It’s not all about the members-only perks–there are also exclusive member events!
Club 33 hosts annual celebrations with prix fixe dinner options, buffet options, as well as evening entertainment that has included performances by the likes of Roy Ayers, Rickie Lee Jones and Elvis Costello in the past.
Members also get exclusive early admission for some different attractions, most recently being a free event at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge before it opened to the public.
8. Ride passes
Disney also offers ride passes for Club 33 members who want the opportunity to enjoy more than one of their favorite attractions on a given day without having to wait in line-ups again and again.
To sweeten the deal, these privileges are extended throughout both theme parks at Disneyland Resort, including Disney California Adventure, with no restrictions based on park admission type (Annual Passes, One Day Guest or Expired Ticket Holder).
