The Magic Kingdom is the best place at Walt Disney World for quick-service restaurants.
Other parks and destinations might be better known for their available cuisine, but at the Magic Kingdom, the dining experience is big on theme and quick on service.
While Disney snacks are fan favorites at Magic Kingdom, table service locations such as Cinderella’s Royal Table and Skipper Canteen are fun places to take a long break from the crowds.
But the advantage of Magic Kingdom quick service is less-pricey meals that you can eat fast, allowing you to go do more things in the park–which is great, since it’s the Disney park with the most rides.
Unlike Epcot, where dining is a full experience of its own, The Magic Kingdom loves to dish out quick counter service eats while maintaining the same high level of immersion, whether you are in Fantasyland or Adventureland.
Also keep in mind that if you’re wanting to enjoy alcohol at Magic Kingdom, you’ll need to dine at a table-service restaurant to do so.
One of our favorite park hopping tips is to plan your day around your dining, so let’s take a look at some of the best choices at Magic Kingdom.

What are the Best Quick Service Restaurants in Magic Kingdom?
The following picks are currently the best quick service locations available, but everything is of course subject to change.
Keep in mind, too, that quick service restaurants are a great way to trim the cost of a trip to Disney World.
There are so many options to choose from, so these are some of the best quick service restaurants at Magic Kingdom that you can’t miss!

Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe
Pecos Bill is probably, objectively speaking, the best quick service restaurant at Magic Kingdom.
The Tex-Mex menu and child-friendly options make it a huge crowd pleaser, and so do the dining areas that can accommodate large crowds. It’s been a favorite of mine for years.
Of course, things are slightly different in a post-pandemic Disney World, but this large counter service location with loads of theming and generous portions is still the number one choice for a quick Magic Kingdom meal.
You can check out the menu here.
Sleepy Hollow
At the entrance to Liberty Square, just to the west of Cinderella Castle, is Sleepy Hollow–an unassuming little window location with plenty of outdoor seating and lovely views of the Main Street Plaza.
This is not a full-fledged restaurant, but you can get a very filling snack in the form of a fresh fruit waffle sandwich or a funnel cake.
This is also a good stop for coffee if you manage to pass up Starbucks on Main Street.
Sometimes specialty menu items pop up here, such as a churro ice cream sandwich or a fried chicken waffle sandwich.
See everything Sleepy Hollow has to offer on their menu here.

Gaston’s Tavern
The best quick food stop in Fantasyland is Gaston’s Tavern, especially if you want a cinnamon roll for breakfast.
The location is terrific. It feels like you were dropped right into Beauty and The Beast.
The Tavern is a place to grab quick snacks and Lefou’s Brew, a non-alcoholic specialty beverage. “The Grey Stuff” is also served here!
This location doesn’t serve entrees, but it will definitely satisfy a small appetite or make a good quick pastry and coffee breakfast as you soak in the fairytale setting.
Grab the menu for Gaston’s Tavern here.
Be Our Guest
This one is tricky. I can’t NOT mention the most immersive restaurant in the whole Magic Kingdom, but this quick-service restaurant is a little bit different.
It’s fast-casual, which is a form of quick service that borders on table service. It also is very popular and you may have a hard time checking in if you don’t have a reservation.
If you do get in, this is easily one of the best restaurants in Magic Kingdom, but your enthusiasm will be largely based on how much you love Beauty and the Beast.
You can check out the Be Our Guest menu here.
The Friar’s Nook
This is another very fast Fantasyland location that offers a short menu of snacks that could be small meals.
What I love about the Friar’s Nook is the Robin Hood theme, which is so unique to the Magic Kingdom, and the fact that the menu changes all the time.
You can always count on a satisfying snack here, but it’s almost always going to be different, depending on how often you are able to visit Walt Disney World. Right now they have Creamy Bacon Mac and Cheese Tots and Loaded Buffalo Chicken Tots, as well as a hot dog and a plant-based brat.
Check out The Friar’s Nook menu here.

Pinnochio’s Village Haus
This quick-service restaurant is very big on Flatbread. They take mobile orders here, so it’s one of the easier places in Fantasyland to secure a meal.
The entrees include plant-based “cheese” pizza, chicken strips, and salad. They also serve tomato basil soup and gelato.
Check out their menu here.
Columbia Harbour House
Known for its seafood, this Liberty Square quick-service restaurant has long been one of my favorites.
Whether you want a lobster roll or clam chowder, this New England favorite serves up classic dishes seafood lovers will enjoy.
And if you’re more of a land-lover, they also have chicken strips and salad.
Check out their menu here.
Do Magic Kingdom Restaurants Take the Disney Dining Plan?
Yes, restaurants at the Magic Kingdom do participate in the Disney dining plan (though the dining plan is currently not available, but is slated to return soon!).
If you have the dining plan as part of your vacation package, be sure to make use of its benefits so you can get the most bang for your buck!
You can see a full list of all of the Magic Kingdom restaurants, including which ones are Quick Service and which ones are Table Service, on this list on the Disney World website.
