While guests can find Disney princesses aplenty in and around the Disney parks, it can sometimes be difficult to track down some other favorite characters, like everyone’s favorite little blue alien.

And with such a fun and lovable personality, why wouldn’t you want some time with Experiment 626?

Whether you’re hoping to meet the little guy himself, or simply want to snag some fun Stitch merchandise, we’re sharing the best places to find Stitch around Disney World!

Where to Meet Stitch at Disney World

If you’re hoping to meet Stitch, maybe get an autograph or snap a photo, we’re sharing some of the best spots to meet Stitch at Walt Disney World.

Let’s dive in!

Ohana in Disney’s Polynesian Resort

One of the best places for guests to meet Stitch is at ‘Ohana in Disney’s Polynesian Resort. He appears alongside his best friend Lilo at the Best Friends Breakfast.

So, not only do you get to meet both Lilo and Stitch, but you also get to sit down to a delicious meal. It’s not a bad deal!

You’ll get the opportunity to ask for autographs and pose for pictures with the famous duo while you chow down on a Polynesian-influenced American breakfast.

The menu for this character dining experience typically includes everything from fresh fruit, classic scrambled eggs, and breakfast potatoes to ham with pineapple.

For bonus fun, you can enjoy Stitch and Mickey waffles. Who knows, maybe your kids will even try something new in the process!

Not only is this one of the best breakfasts at Disney World, but it’s also one of those experiences that Lilo and Stitch fans will love.

Even if you aren’t staying at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, you can still visit the resort for breakfast.

And since it’s one of the Disney hotels on the monorail, it’s an easy trip to the Magic Kingdom theme park from there.

Do keep in mind that characters only appear at breakfast, not at dinner! So if hoping for character dining experiences, be sure to grab breakfast reservations on the My Disney Experience app.

The Rocket Tower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland

There’s a good chance that you’ll spend some time in Magic Kingdom on your trip (Space Mountain, anyone?), so you may be able to meet Stitch over in Tomorrowland.

He sometimes appears on the Rockettower Plaza Stage, located between Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress and Space Mountain.

As for when you’ll find him there, well, that can be a bit tricky.

His appearances don’t follow a set schedule, so we can’t give you any exact times. However, if you happen to see one of Stitch’s Cast Member friends around, they may be able to give you an idea.

One final note about this Stitch appearance: you may not get the chance actually to get up close and personal with him here.

This is more of a Disney character sighting than a typical meet and greet, so you may not be able to get an autograph or pose for a picture with him.

Yes, it’s unfortunate. However, you can still wave “hi” and take a photo of him. It may not be the same, but it’s something!

Can You Still Meet Stitch at Stitch’s Great Escape?

If you’re not planning your first trip to Disney World, you may remember a Stitch-themed attraction called Stitch’s Great Escape.

Formerly the ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter, this was a “theater-in-the-round” experience that starred – you guessed it – Stitch himself.

A little while after Stitch’s Great Escape was switched from a daily attraction to a seasonally-operated one, its indoor pre-show room played host to “Stitch’s Alien Encounter Character Greeting!”.

Here, fans could interact with Stitch in a more traditional character meet-and-greet setting.

But unfortunately, he doesn’t appear to be meeting here anymore.

So, if you want to meet Stitch at Disney World, your best bet is to make a reservation at ‘Ohana in Disney’s Polynesian Resort or check for a character sighting at the Rocket Tower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom.

Where Can You Buy Stitch Merchandise at Disney?

Now that you have a better idea of where to find him, you may wonder where to pick up some Stitch merchandise. Well, we’ve got the scoop on merchandise for the little alien, too!

Star Traders in Tomorrowland

If you want to pick up a Stitch souvenir straight from Walt Disney World Resort, searching around Magic Kingdom will probably be your best bet. And since he spends time in Tomorrowland, you may want to focus on the gift shops in that area of this Disney park.

For instance, Star Traders, which is a gift shop located next to Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe in Tomorrowland, often has Stitch t-shirts and other merchandise.

Moana’s Mercantile at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

Moana’s Mercantile is a gift shop located with Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and given its theming, there are plenty of items for Stitch lovers!

You’ll likely be able to find clothing, plushies, and other merch that features this cute little extraterrestrial.

World of Disney at Disney Springs

At Disney Springs, the World of Disney store carries a fair amount of Stitch memorabilia.

Not only that, but there is a large Stitch figure on one of the exterior signs that squirts water at unsuspecting guests!

Buy Online

On the other hand, if you don’t want to carry your Stitch souvenir around all day (you’re going to be on your feet all day as it is!), then you may want to skip the shops and order something online.

There’s some great Stitch items on the ShopDisney website – here are some of our favorites.

You can’t go wrong with a classic Stitch plush toy!

This adorable little guy features detailed plush sculpting, embroidered features, and soft, flexible ears.

If you have a little Stitch fan in your life, then this plush is practically a must. It’s the perfect thing to cuddle up with when they watch the movie for the millionth time!

black long-sleeve t-shirt featuring Stitch from Lilo and Stitch

We know perfectly well that it isn’t only kids that love Stitch – he has plenty of adult fans too!

If that sounds like you, you may be interested in this Stitch Long Sleeve T-Shirt for Adults.

This shirt features a multicolored screen art featuring Stitch on the front, and it also says “Stitch” along the arm.

Can’t quite read it? That’s because it’s spelled out in Tantalog! You may remember Tantalog as the language created by Jumba Jookiba (or has it been too long since you’ve seen the movies?).

Ready to Meet Stitch?

So, where do you think you’ll meet Stitch?

Will you make reservations at ‘Ohana so you can enjoy an up-close-and-personal experience with Lilo and Stitch while enjoying a delicious Polynesian-influenced character breakfast?

Or will you hang around the Rocket Tower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom to catch a glimpse of your favorite little blue alien in action.

Did we mention that Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story shows up on that stage from time to time too?

No matter which place you choose, one thing is for sure: there’s nothing quite like seeing a favorite character live and in-person.

It’ll be an experience that the Stitch fan in your life will remember for years to come!
